Student employees are integral to the functioning of our campus. There are campus jobs in a variety of departments. Opportunities include Federal Work Study (FWS) and non-FWS positions.  Students currently work on campus in the following positions

Open positions are listed below. If there is a position available, students should apply by submitting a completed Student Worker Application, along with their resume, to the appropriate department supervisor.  Once hired, students should (1) submit all hiring forms through the Gusto payroll platform (2) review the Student Employee Handbook before their first day of work.


August 15, 2022. Review course material while working for the school & help us meet our goal of creating a library of streamlined videos for distance education. Using a school-provided, user-friendly platform called Descript, edit recorded videos of Zoom classes. Using AI technology, Descript turns recorded content into a transcript, and then users can edit the video by editing the transcript. When a user deletes a sentence in the transcript, the accompanying clip gets removed from the video. No prior experience with video editing software is required; training on Descript software will be provided. Ideal candidate wants to be responsible for editing the videos of most or all of the courses they’re currently enrolled in (3-6 classes per week). Number of work hours per week varies based on how many courses each Video Editor takes on; approximately .5-1.5 hours of work weekly per course. August 15, 2022. The Library has part time opening for Thursdays from 12:30pm- 5:30pm; $20/hour. This position provides circulation assistance, collection maintenance, technical assistance, and general customer service to students, staff, and faculty of AIMC. Student workers in the Library usually find time to study & prepare school work during these shifts, though Library tasks always come first. August 15, 2022. The front desk has part time opening for Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm; $20/hour.  If you would like to earn some extra cash, are interested in seeing first-hand what it takes to run an acupuncture clinic, and would like to hone in your people skills, please consider applying.  Priority will be given to students who qualify for work-study, are bilingual, and are available to work the entire shift. If you are neither of these, but are passionate about this opening, we highly encourage you to still apply. Student Worker Application


Once hired, you receive an email from our payroll system, Gusto.  Once you log in, you will review and sign all hiring paperwork though the Gusto platform. You will also log your hours through Gusto’s time tracking feature and be able to view your paycheck history.
